Walkthrough
- Speak with Raibaht at (G-8) in Metalworks for a cutscene.
- You must be on Dark Knight at level 40 or higher to receive this cutscene and start the quest. Once the quest is active you can complete the remainder on any job.
- Speak with Mighty Fist at (G-9) in Metalworks (inside the forge). You will receive a
Letter from the Darksteel Forge. - Travel to Windurst Waters and speak to Cochal-Monchal at (F-8) in the west side of the Optistery.
- Home Point #1 will place you directly behind the east side of the Optistery.
- Obtain a Yagudo Cherry from the Auction House or from the sources in the Notes section.
- Travel to Giddeus (same distance from West Sarutabatura entrance or from HP #1), but the following directions are from the zone entrance):
- Take the west path, hugging the right wall all the way to the fork at (G-8).
- Take the east path at the fork and drop down the hole at (H-7).
- After the drop, hug the left wall until (I-11).
- DO NOT DROP OVER LEDGE AT (I-11)!!!
- Hug west wall at (I-11) and head south all the way to the ??? at (H-14).
- The next step will spawn the NM Vaa Huja the Erudite which will link with other Yagudos in the area. You may want to clear the area before doing so.
- Once you have reached (H-14), locate the ??? on the west wall and trade the Yagudo Cherry to it.
- Defeat Vaa Huja the Erudite and click on the ??? again. You will obtain "Darksteel Formula"
- Return to Metalworks and speak with Mighty Fist again.
- Return to Raibaht and speak with him to complete the quest and receive your reward(s).
