[Guide] Woodworking to 110 by Immortality

Woodworking Guide by Immortality for quick skill-ups

  • Do not expect to make any gil using this guide. This guide is meant to just skill up quickly and either A.) Sell the crafted items to NPC shops or B.) Hope that the AH-Bot buys back your item. Purchase the crystals/clusters from !ah or farm them in Sky/Sea.


  • Most of the items I will be listing will have a 8-10 level gap in them, so having Advanced Synthesis Support is a must. You will not get any skill-ups for any breaks if you are more than 5 levels under the skill level of the synth!


  • All recipe items listed below can either be purchased from !ah and/or from shop/guild NPCs and/or obtained by farming them. Some recipe items you may already have from previous crafts. Scan through this entire guide to see if items previously crafted can be used in another craft.


  • Some recipes may also be de-synthed (usually using a Element: ThunderLightning Crystal or Element: WindWind Crystal). Check the Item Tool for any of the ingredients of the craft to see if a recipe exists using the end item that was just crafted as the material with a de-synth result being one and/or more of the crafting materials.


  • Helpful Guild Notes: Primary Carpenters' (Woodworking) Guild is located at (E-3) in Northern San d'Oria, Cheupirudaux is the Guild Master, Ulycille gives the Advanced Synthesis Support. The Guild shop is in the same map square, but two floors above the Guild.


  • NPCs listed were based on cost then proximity from the primary guild location, if they aren't already guild NPCs. Primary guild location was chosen based upon frequency of NPC decided.

Recruit (0-10)

(Piece of) Lauan Lumber (skill level 3): Element: WindWind Crystal + 1x Lauan Log

  • Lauan Log is available from NPC Chaupire at (E-3) in the Carpenters' Guild shop in Northern San d'Oria.


Craft (Piece of) Lauan Lumber until Woodworking skill is level 3.

(Piece of) Ash Lumber (skill level 8): Element: WindWind Crystal + 1x Ash Log

  • Ash Log is available from NPC Chaupire at (E-3) in the Carpenters' Guild shop in Northern San d'Oria.

Journeyman (41-50)

Rose Wand (skill level 47): Element: WindWind Crystal + 1x Black Chocobo Feather + 1x (Piece of) Rosewood Lumber

  • Black Chocobo Feather is only available with the "Pet Item Vendor" NPC of the kingdom that is currently in 1st place and can only be purchased by a character that is from that nation.
    • Example: If Windurst is in 1st place, someone from Windurst will need to buy these.
      • You can always make a character that is from the 1st place nation and purchase these on that character then send/trade them to the needed character.
  • (Piece of) Rosewood Lumber (skill level 45): Element: WindWind Crystal + 1x Rosewood Log
    • Rosewood Log is available from NPC Cauzeriste at (E-3) in the Carpenters' Guild shop in Northern San d'Oria.

Craft (Piece of) Jacaranda Lumber until Woodworking skill is level 103.

After you've reached Woodworking skill level 103, you have multiple choices for Woodworking skill levels 103 through 110. The ones listed below are the ones that Immortality provided. Other recipes may exist but these are what were listed on the original guide. Use the Item Tool and recipes on BG-Wiki/FFXIclopedia for other crafting level 100+ crafts but also then verify that the Item Crafting recipe exists for the end item here on HomepointXI and that the the Item Crafting ingredients are able to be obtained here on HomepointXI. Check these two things before you prepare your path to the end goal of Woodworking skill level 110!
