Glamour
History/Background
Maat or Mayet, also spelled Māt or Ma'at, or thought to have been pronounced as Muʔʕat (Muh-aht), was the Ancient Egyptian concept of truth, order—law, morality, and justice sometimes personified as a goddess. Ma'at was seen as being in charge with regulating the stars, seasons, and the actions of both mortals and the deities, after she had set the order of the universe from chaos at the moment of creation.
Maat came in fourteenth place in a Final Fantasy XI NPC Popularity Contest held by Square Enix in June 2013. Current players were given an opportunity to vote for their favorite NPC and share ideas for stories involving these characters.
