Walkthrough

• Speak to Erlene in The Eldieme Necropolis [S] at (J-8) for a cutscene.
  • You must be on Scholar at level 40 or higher to receive this cutscene and start the quest. Once the quest is active you can complete the remainder on any job.
  • You may receive a cutscene with Erlene in which she teaches you the spells Embrava and Kaustra. If you receive this cutscene, talk with her again for the correct cutscene.
    • The correct cutscene is one wherein you obtain Ulbrecht's sealed letter.
• Speak to Gentle Tiger in Bastok Markets [S] at (H-6).
• Travel to (E-11) in Pashhow Marshlands [S] and touch the Indescript Markings for a cutscene.
  • There are level 70+ Virulent Peiste mobs that aggro on sight that are around the Indescript Markings. Be prepared and either come with Invisible (status effect) and wait until they turn, or kill them with a higher level job.
• Return to Erlene to complete the quest and receive your reward.
