Walkthrough
- Speak to Jaucribaix in Norg at (K-8) to begin the quest.
- Speak to Aeka at (I-8) to receive Oriental Steel.
- Speak to Ranemaud at (I-7) to receive a Sacred Sprig.
- Travel to (D-7) in Konschtat Highlands, trade the Oriental Steel to the ??? in front of a cave to spawn a Bomb Notorious Monster named Forger.
- Once the Forger is defeated, a Bomb Steel will drop.
- If you are defeated while fighting the Forger or somehow lose the Bomb Steel before the next part, Aeka can give you another Oriental Steel in exchange for a Darksteel Ore.
- Obtain a Hatchet (from the Auction House or through the methods in the Notes section below) and travel to The Sanctuary of Zi'Tah. You will find an area off of the map in the northern part of (K-10) that will take you to a block at (L-9). There you will find a ??? spot (you may need to stand on the rock under the ??? in order to be close enough to trade the Hatchet). Trade the Hatchet to the ??? spot to spawn a Treant Notorious Monster named Guardian Treant.
- If you are doing the quest for multiple people, you only need to kill the Guardian Treant once.
- Once the Guardian Treant is defeated, trade the Sacred Sprig to the ??? to receive a Sacred Branch.
- Return to Norg and trade the Bomb Steel and the Sacred Branch to Jaucribaix.
- Return and talk to Jaucribaix once again in three game days to receive your rewards.
- Jaucribaix will let you know, in game hours, how much more time you have to wait.
Notes
- The Mumeito is required to do the Samurai AF Weapon Quest: The Sacred Katana. If you plan on leveling Samurai, it would be wise to hold on to it, otherwise you will have to pay Ranemaud 30,000 gil for a replacement.
