Goldsmithing Guide by Raelious for quick skill-ups
Do not expect to make any gil using this guide till you are at least 100+, this guide is meant to just skill up quickly and either A.) NPC crafted items, or B.) Hope the AHbot buys back your item.
Most of the items I will be listing will have a 8-10 level gap in them, so getting Adv. Support is a must. As you will not get any skills for any breaks if you are over 5 levels of the synth.
Most items listed below can either be gotten from shops/guilds, either buy the crystals/clusters on the AH, or farm them in Sky/Sea.
Levels 0-99
0-7 Copper Hairpin (Wind Crystal + x1 Copper Ingot)
- Buy the Copper Ore and craft into Ingots.
- SAVE ONE FOR RANK UP
- Buy/Craft a stack of Copper Ingots, then craft then desynth with a Lightning Crystal
7-9 Brass Ingot (Fire Crystal + x1 Zinc Ore + x3 Copper Ore)
- Buy materials from guild.
- I would suggest crafting a minimum of 2-3 of these stacks, as you will use them to get to 17.
9-16 Brass Hairpin (Wind Crystal + x1 Brass Ingot)
- Use the ingots from previous skillups
- SAVE ONE FOR RANK UP
- Craft/Desynth till you hit 16, you can cap this at 17 if you wish to just use up your leftover materials.
16-20 Silver Ingot (Fire Crystal + x4 Silver Ores)
- Buy materials from guld, make 5 stacks minimum for upcoming recipes.
16-22 Clear Topaz/Kor-i-nor (Wind Crystal + x1 Sparking Stone)
- Can skillup on these as an alternative to 22, if you farm dynamis and have some or if any are on the AH. Ahbot DOES NOT stock these.
20/22-26 Silver Hairpin (Wind Crystal + x1 Silver Ingot)
- Use the ingots from previous skillups
- SAVE ONE FOR RANK UP
- Craft/Desynth till you hit 26, you can cap this at 27 if you wish to just use up your leftover materials.
26-31 Silver Ring (Fire Crystal + x2 Silver Ingot)
- Craft/Desynth till you hit 31-32.
Levels 100+
102-115 Level 99 - -tear Rings (Corresponding Crystal to the ring color + x1 Rhodium Ring + x1 Ifritear, Shivatear, etc)
- Have fun doing these, currently you need to farm either Kukuklan or Sobek for Rhodium Ores. And you need 8 Rhodium Ores per ring.
Goldsmithing is probably one of the more annoying crafts to take past 100 on this server due to the shear amount of rhodium you will need to farm in order to skillup past 102, just my opinion.
