Stats
Stats are relative: an item that gives you only attack, will give more attack than an item that gives attack and accuracy. The terms "large" and "small" used here are intended to mean relative to the other stats in the same item.
During development it was deliberately crafted foods focusing on fewer stats should exceed the amounts on custom food with multiple different stats.
Bard song bonus are applied to the caster meaning once your bard eats their food the matching songs he casts are buffed.
The colored drops were medicine in retail FFXI, but here they are food. Please note we cannot modify the item help-text as that is part of the client, not the server.

The item help-text is accurate, but the following effects have been added:

Red Drop
STR, large melee attack/ranged attack boost, small melee accuracy/ranged accuracy boost, +2 March/Minuet
If the goal is "hit harder" Red Drop is where its at folks
Purple Drop
DEX, large melee accuracy boost, small boost to melee attack/ranged attack/ranged accuracy, Weapon skill accuracy, quickdraw damage, +2 Prelude/Madrigal
Melee focused but doesn't leave ranged attacks out in the cold
Yellow Drop
VIT, large defense boost, medium melee attack boost, small melee accuracy boost, enmity boost, WeaponSkill dmg, cure received potency, +2 Minne/Elegy
This is for those times you need to be a brick wall, without totally throwing away your melee
Green Drop
AGI, large ranged accuracy boost, small boosts to ranged attack/melee attack/melee accuracy, evasion, WeaponSkill dmg, quickdraw damage, +2 Mambo/Requiem
Ranged accuracy focused but doesn't leave hybrid roles with nothing.
Blue Drop
MND, magic attack, magic accuracy, fastcast, enmity reduction, cure cast potency, magic defense, +2 Finale/Lullaby
Them feels heals
Clear Drop
INT, magic attack, magic accuracy, fastcast, magic crit rate, bonus dmg on magic bursts, magic evasion, +2 Etude/Ballad

White Drop
Player: CHR, Store TP, Waltz Potency, small boost to melee attack and melee accuracy
Pet : Store TP, attack, ranged attack, accuracy, ranged accuracy, magic attack, magic accuracy, +1 All songs
Pet buffs are intentionally extra large to compensate for some issues in Darkstar that weaken high level pets. When the issues are resolved, White Drop will be rebalanced
Black Drop
Repatriate
Teo has stated he intends to later change this to a Tidal Talisman like effect.
Suggested usages

| Clear Drop | BLM, RDM, SCH |
| White Drop | DNC, BST, SMN, PUP |
| Black Drop | The Homesick |
