Avatarites and Avatar-tears

"Avatarites" are a special types of minerals that MAY drop off of monsters. An "Elemental Geode" may drop INSTEAD of an "Avatarite".

Either may drop under the following conditions:

• A player must be under the status effect of either Signet, Sanction, or Sigil.

• The monster must be level 80 and higher.

• The element-type of "Avatarite" or "Elemental Geode" that you may receive is based off of the day or weather.
  • "Avatarites" and "Elemental Geodes" are mutually exclusive, only one or the other may drop, NEVER BOTH.
  • Weather has a higher priority (over day of the week) and significantly boosts the frequency of Avatarite / "Elemental Geode" drops.
    • Double-weather has no affect on the frequency of drops of Avatarites / "Elemental Geodes"
    • Scholar storm-type spells have no affect on the frequency of drops of Avatarites / "Elemental Geodes"
• "Avatarites" / "Elemental Geodes" will not drop in the following zones: Any Dynamis zone

The "Avatarite" minerals are used as ingredients to be crafted into "Avatar-tear" crystals of the same avatar name (i.e., Ifritite → Ifritear).

The "Avatar-tear" crystals are then used as ingredients to be crafted into avatar rings of the same avatar name (i.e., Ifritear → Ifrit Ring).
