The Triarius is a position in the Roman army; an infantry soldier in a Legion who was heavily-armed. The position was usually given to a soldier with experience. He would use the Gladius (a one-handed sword) and Scutum (a tower-type shield), the same armaments as the Hastatus and the Princeps variants of the Anticans, with the exception of the pilus, which was replaced with a long spear. Triarius is Latin for third liner. X-XV means 10-15 in Roman numerals. Thus, its name means third line position in the infantry column, specifically the tenth thru fifteenth positions in the third line.
