[Guide] Bonecraft to 110 by Immortality

Bonecraft Guide by Immortality for quick skill-ups

  • Do not expect to make any gil using this guide. This guide is meant to just skill up quickly and either A.) Sell the crafted items to NPC shops or B.) Hope that the AH-Bot buys back your item. Purchase the crystals/clusters from !ah or farm them in Sky/Sea.


  • Most of the items I will be listing will have a 8-10 level gap in them, so having Advanced Synthesis Support is a must. You will not get any skill-ups for any breaks if you are more than 5 levels under the skill level of the synth!


  • All recipe items listed below can either be purchased from !ah and/or from shop/guild NPCs and/or obtained by farming them. Some recipe items you may already have from previous crafts. Scan through this entire guide to see if items previously crafted can be used in another craft.


  • Some recipes may also be de-synthed (usually using a Element: ThunderLightning Crystal or Element: WindWind Crystal). Check the Item Tool for any of the ingredients of the craft to see if a recipe exists using the end item that was just crafted as the material with a de-synth result being one and/or more of the crafting materials.


  • Helpful Guild Notes: Primary Boneworkers' (Bonecraft) Guild is located at (H-12/13) in Windurst Woods, Peshi Yohnts is the Guild Master, Lih Pituu gives the Advanced Synthesis Support. The Guild shop is in the same building, but in the northern area of the Guild.


  • NPCs listed were based on cost then proximity from the primary guild location, if they aren't already guild NPCs. Primary guild location was chosen based upon frequency of NPC decided.

Recruit (0-10)

Bone Hairpin (skill level 4): Element: WindWind Crystal + 1x Bone Chip

  • Bone Chip is available from NPC Shih Tayuun at (H-12) in the Boneworkers' Guild shop in Windurst Woods.


Craft Bone Hairpin until Bonecraft skill is level 3.

(Handful of) Bone Arrowheads(Arrowhd.) (skill level 10): Element: WindWind Crystal + 2x Bone Chip

  • Bone Chip is available from NPC Shih Tayuun at (H-12) in the Boneworkers' Guild shop in Windurst Woods.


Craft (Handful of) Bone Arrowheads(Arrowhd.) until Bonecraft skill is level 8, turn in Shell Ring for promotion, then continue on.

Bone Ring (skill level 17): Element: WindWind Crystal + 1x Bone Chip + 1x Sheep Tooth

  • Sheep Tooth is available from NPC Shih Tayuun at (H-12) in the Boneworkers' Guild shop in Windurst Woods.


Craft Bone Ring until Bonecraft skill is level 16.

Beetle Ring (skill level 25): Element: WindWind Crystal + 1x Beetle Jaw

  • Beetle Jaw is available from NPC Retto-Marutto at (H-12) in the Boneworkers' Guild shop in Windurst Woods.


Craft Beetle Ring until Bonecraft skill is level 17, turn in Bone Ring for promotion, then continue crafting Beetle Ring until Bonecraft skill is level 24.

Novice (21-30)

(Handful of) Beetle Arrowheads(Arrowhd.) (skill level 33): Element: WindWind Crystal + 1x Bone Chip + 1x Beetle Jaw

Scorpion Ring (skill level 60): Element: WindWind Crystal + 1x Scorpion Shell

Craft Scorpion Ring until Bonecraft skill is level 59, turn in Astragalos for promotion, then continue on. 

 Promotion Item - Astragalos (skill level 58): Element: WindWind Crystal + 1x Giant Femur + 1x (Jar of) Black Ink + 1x (Vial of) Beastman Blood
 • Giant Femur is available from NPC Retto-Marutto at (H-12) in the Boneworkers' Guild shop in Windurst Woods. 
 • (Jar of) Black Ink (requires Alchemy skill level 4): Element: WindWind Crystal + 1x Willow Log + (Flask of) Distilled Water + 1x Ahtapot - This recipe yields two (Jar of) Black Ink.
   • Willow Log is available from NPC Chaupire at (E-3) in the Carpenters' Guild shop in Northern San d'Oria.
   • (Flask of) Distilled Water is available from NPC Wije Tiren at (I-8) in Windurst Woods.
   • Ahtapot can be purchased from !ah.
 • (Vial of) Beastman Blood only can be farmed.

Artisan (61-70)

Beast Horn (skill level 69): Element: WindWind Crystal + 2x Ram Horn

Mammoth Tusk (skill level 94): Element: WindWind Crystal + 1x Giant Frozen Head


Craft Mammoth Tusk until Bonecraft skill is level 93.

Chronos Tooth (skill level 100): Element: WindWind Crystal + 1x Colossal Skull


Craft Chronos Tooth until Bonecraft skill is level 99, turn in Hajduk Ring (signed) for promotion, then continue on. 

 Promotion Item - Hajduk Ring (signed) (skill level 100): Element: WindElement: WindCyclone Crystal (purchase from !shop 1) + 2x Khimaira Horn
 • Khimaira Horn only can be farmed.


After you've turned in your Hajduk Ring (signed), you have multiple choices for Bonecraft skill levels 100 through 110. Use the Item Tool and recipes on BG-Wiki/FFXIclopedia for other crafting level 100+ crafts but also then verify that the Item Crafting recipe exists for the end item here on HomepointXI and that the the Item Crafting ingredients are able to be obtained here on HomepointXI. Check these two things before you prepare your path to the end goal of Bonecraft skill level 110!
