Walkthrough

• Once you have any job at level 75 or higher, examine one of the Abyssean Cavernous Maw below to enter one of the Abyssea zones. A convenient maw is located near the Survival Guide in Buburimu Peninsula, but any maw below will do.
  • Vision zones:
    • La Theine Plateau at (D-4) transports players to Abyssea - La Theine
    • Konschtat Highlands at (I-12) transports players to Abyssea - Konschtat
    • Tahrongi Canyon at (H-12) transports players to Abyssea - Tahrongi
  • Scars zones:
    • Jugner Forest at (J-8) transports players to Abyssea - Vunkerl
    • Valkurm Dunes at (I-9) transports players to Abyssea - Misareaux
    • Buburimu Peninsula at (F-7) transports players to Abyssea - Attohwa
  • Heroes zones:
    • Xarcabard at (H-8) transports players to Abyssea - Uleguerand
    • North Gustaberg at (G-7) transports players to Abyssea - Grauberg
    • South Gustaberg at (J-10) transports players to Abyssea - Altepa
• When examining a maw, a short cutscene will play showing the player transported inside.
• Once inside, no cutscene is shown.
  • Even though you were already given a traverser stone by Jaochim in Port Jeuno, Abyssea here on HomepointXI does not have a time limit.
• Return to Joachim in Port Jeuno and speak with him to complete the quest.
  • The next quest, Dawn of Death, is automatically flagged.
    • At this time, Abyssea storyline content here on HomepointXI stops at The Truth Beckons. Dawn of Death is automatically flagged but you are unable to proceed with any part of it forward.
      • This also applies to any of the Abyssea sub-storyline content. The quests to defeat the different Abyssea zone bosses are all automatically flagged upon examining any of the above Abyssean Cavernous Maws but you are unable to proceed with any part of them forward.
