Voidwatch is a confrontation-style battle system which takes place in various fields and dungeons across Vana'diel of the past and present.

As of 04/20/2018, here on HomepointXI server, Voidwatch Key Items (KIs) no longer delete upon completion of killing all Voidwatch NMs of a tier.

A public command has been put into place to replace the missing Voidwatch keyitems depending on what you're currently holding.

Just type !voidwatch and you will receive the missing keyitems.

Voidstones can now also be acquired retroactively. If you miss a day and it’s been 40 hours since you last received a voidstone, you will receive 2 voidstones when interacting with a Voidwatch Officer NPC.

Hopefully all this will make things a little more fun!

Requirements

In order to participate in Voidwatch, you must satisfy the following conditions:

  • Be level 75 or higher.
  • Possess an Adventurer's Certificate (You Must be Rank 3 or higher.)
  • Join a city in the past by completing one of these quests:
    • The Fighting Fourth (start NPC is Adelbrecht in Bastok Markets (S) at (E-8))
    • Steamed Rams (start NPC is Mainchelite in Southern San d'Oria (S) at (I-9))
    • Snake on the Plains (start NPC is Miah Riyuh in Windurst Waters (S) at (H-9))
  • Possess any stratum abyssite (initially obtained from a city area Voidwatch Officer in the present)

How to participate

Planar rifts are gateways from an alternate reality through which Voidwatch monsters are manifest.

Players must initially speak to a Voidwatch Officer in order to obtain a Stratum Abyssite key item. Each key item needs to be acquired only once.

  • KeyItem.pngCrimson stratum abyssite from Voidwatch Officer (San d'Oria)
  • KeyItem.pngIndigo stratum abyssite from Voidwatch Officer (Bastok)
  • KeyItem.pngJade stratum abyssite from Voidwatch Officer (Windurst)
  • KeyItem.pngWhite stratum abyssite is acquired through the quest Drafted by the Duchy which can only be started after completing each of the three city paths.
  • KeyItem.pngAshen stratum abyssite from Kieran in Norg
  • KeyItem.pngHyacinth stratum abyssite from Owain in Tavnazian Safehold
  • KeyItem.pngAmber stratum abyssite from Camille in Wajaom Woodlands

Your KeyItem.pngWhite Stratum Abyssite I will automatically upgrade into KeyItem.pngWhite Stratum Abyssite II upon sucessful completion of all Tier I Voidwatch battles.

Jeuno Tier III

After completing Jeuno Tier II talk to any Voidwatch Officer in the present. Go to Ru'Lude Gardens and talk to the Audience Chamber door. You will receive the KeyItem.pngWhite stratum abyssite III and KeyItem.pngVoidwatchers Emblem: Qufim

Jeuno Tier IV

After completing Jeuno Tier III talk to any Voidwatch Officer in the present and proceed to Ru'Lude Gardens and talk to the Audience Chamber door. Next go to the Verdical Conflux in Pashhow Marshlands [S] for a cutscene. Talk to any Voidwatch Officer in the present and again go to Ru'Lude Gardens and talk to the Audience Chamber door. You will receive the KeyItem.pngWhite Stratum Abyssite IV & KeyItem.pngTricolor Voidwatchers Emblem.

Jeuno Tier V

After defeating all Jeuno Tier IV Voidwatch battles your KeyItem.pngWhite Stratum Abyssite IV will automatically upgrade into KeyItem.pngWhite Stratum Abyssite V.

Jeuno Tier VI

After defeating all Jeuno Tier V Voidwatch battles your KeyItem.pngWhite Stratum Abyssite V will automatically upgrade into KeyItem.pngWhite Stratum Abyssite VI.

Zilart Path

Zilart Tier I

Elshimo Path

After starting Voidwatch Ops: Border Crossing and receiving the KeyItem.pngAshen Stratum Abyssite, speak to Hildegard in Kazham to begin Zilart Tier I (Elshimo Path). Engage in and complete the three Zilart Tier I (Elshimo Path) Voidwatch battles in the Elshimo region:

  • Holy Moly in Yuhtunga Jungle
  • Neith in The Temple of Uggalepih
  • Ildebrann in Ifrit's Cauldron

Return to Hildegard to complete the Elshimo path.

Kuzotz Path

After starting Voidwatch Ops: Border Crossing and receiving the KeyItem.pngAshen Stratum Abyssite, speak to Gushing Spring in Rabao to begin Zilart Tier I (Kuzotz Path). Engage in and complete the three Zilart Tier I (Kuzotz Path) Voidwatch battles in the Zepwell region:

  • Sabotender Campeador in Western Altepa Desert
  • Malleator Maurok in Quicksand Caves
  • Tangaroa in Kuftal Tunnel

Return to Gushing Spring to complete the Kuzotz path.

Complete both the Kuzotz and the Elshimo paths and return to Kieran in Norg to complete Zilart Tier I.

Zilart Tier II

Next talk to Gilgamesh for a cutscene who will tell you to talk to Kieran again. Kieran will upgrade your KeyItem.pngAshen Stratum Abyssite into KeyItem.pngAshen Stratum Abyssite II.

Engage in and complete the three Zilart Tier II Voidwatch battles in the Li'Telor region:

  • Cath Palug in The Sanctuary of Zi'Tah
  • Modron in The Boyahda Tree
  • Mimic King in Ro'Maeve

Return to to Kieran to have your KeyItem.pngAshen Stratum Abyssite II upgraded to KeyItem.pngAshen Stratum Abyssite III.

Zilart Tier III

Engage in and complete the three Zilart Tier III Voidwatch battles in the Tu'Lia region:

  • Aello in Ru'Aun Gardens
  • Qilin in The Shrine of Ru'Avitau
  • Uptala in Ve'Lugannon Palace

After defeating all 3, return to Norg and speak to Kieran to complete the Zilart Path.

Tavnazia Path

Speak with the NPC Owain in Tavnazian Safehold at (H-6) for a cutscene. Choose to participate in voidwatch operations to receive KeyItem.pngHyacinth Stratum Abyssite. Defeat the following Voidwatch notorious monsters in Promathia areas:

  • Fjalar in Attohwa Chasm
  • Abununnu in Lufaise Meadows
  • Tsui-Goab in Misareaux Coast
  • Isarukitsck in Uleguerand Range

Return to Owain to have your KeyItem.pngHyacinth Stratum Abyssite upgraded to KeyItem.pngHyacinth Stratum Abyssite II.

Kill Bismarck and return to Owain to complete the Tavnazian Path.

Aht Urhgan Path

Speak with the NPC Camille in Wajaom Woodlands at (M-7) to receive KeyItem.pngAmber Stratum Abyssite. Defeat the following Voidwatch notorious monsters in Aht Urhgan areas:

  • Dimgruzub in Arrapago Reef
  • Brekekekex in Caedarva Mire
  • Yalungur in Mamook
  • Vanasarvik in Mount Zhayolm

Return to Camille to have your KeyItem.pngAmber Stratum Abyssite upgraded to KeyItem.pngAmber Stratum Abyssite II.
